I'm building an app to track my blood work!

I get my thyroid levels checked every six months, and I’ve always wished there were a nice app for storing the results. I often lose older reports and get flak from my doctors for not maintaining a proper history.

There should be an easy way to digitize these reports, back them up, and have them available on all my devices. I’ve described this app to my friends so many times that they’ve probably lost count.

But no one seems to be building it, so I figured I’d spend my break doing it myself.

The one thing I want to do differently from my other projects is be very intentional about how I build it. Rather than letting the model make decisions for me, I want to understand and own them.

I’ll share more as I build, but here are some rough mockups of what I’m planning:

Empty lab reports screen on desktop
Test history on desktop
Report details on desktop
Test results on mobile — light mode
Test results on mobile — dark mode

A lot of the initial designs are inspired by Resurf 2 by Deep Lakhani. I love Resurf's design language, so I’m stealing a few ideas from it.
